The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has introduced four key innovations that ensure priority assistance for residents and their families anywhere in the world.
One of the most notable updates is the ability to obtain an electronic re-entry permit within just 30 minutes if a passport is lost while traveling.
The service is completely free and can be accessed through the official MoFA website or mobile app, using the UAE Pass digital ID.
After submitting the application and uploading the necessary documents (including a photo and Golden Visa details), the permit remains valid for seven days. It allows re-entry to the UAE but does not replace an international passport.
