Dubai's main public parking operator, Parkin PJSC, has launched new paid parking spaces in the residential area of Wasl Green Park. This marked another stage of a large-scale program to expand and standardize the city's parking system.
According to the company, paid parking is already in effect under zone code 614W. All authorized parking spaces have clear markings and signage, making it easier for drivers to navigate the area.
Parking fees are set at 4 dirhams for 1 hour, 8 dirhams for 2 hours, 12 dirhams for 3 hours, and 16 dirhams for 4 hours. For permanent residents and those who use a car regularly, subscriptions are available for 3 months for 900 dirhams, 6 months for 1800 dirhams, and 12 months for 3600 dirhams. The paid zone operates around the clock, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Why Parkin is expanding the parking network
The introduction of paid parking in Wasl Green Park is part of Parkin's broader strategy to bring order to Dubai's parking space. The company is consistently implementing unified rules and tariffs in residential neighborhoods as well as in commercial and mixed-use areas of the city.
During the same period, Parkin took over the management of 2100 parking spaces near 59 Dubai mosques. At these locations, a free parking period of 1 hour applies during prayer times, after which standard tariffs begin to apply.

New zones in other areas of the city
The expansion continued in November, when paid zones appeared in Dubai Sports City designated as Zone S and in Dubai International Academic City designated as Zone F. This made paid parking available in several more rapidly developing areas of the emirate.
Earlier, in August, paid parking was introduced in the Al Jaddaf area. There, zone 326C was designated for on-street parking and zone 326D for off-street parking, and the tariffs differ during peak hours and off-peak times.
Updated subscription system
Recently, Parkin also announced a large-scale update to Dubai's public parking subscription system. Fifteen new and revised subscription categories were introduced, which are intended to give residents and visitors more flexibility and convenience when choosing parking solutions.
Real estate and urban planning experts note that such changes are especially important amid population growth and the increasing number of cars in Dubai. The new system helps ease street congestion, improve parking availability, and make urban infrastructure more predictable and convenient for everyday life.
